“Camp Comfort” on Cottage Lake in 1939
Camp Comfort was located where the Beach Club is now. It was a resort-picnic area formerly called Cedar Grove. It wasn’t until later that the Erickson’s started the Erickson’s Cottage Lake Resort on the north end which later became Norm’s Resort

Cottage Lake Lumber Company (Cottage Lake)
The Cottage Lake Lumber Company was in operation from about World War I until the late 1930’s. It had mills or lumber yards at Bothell, Duvall, Redmond, Renton and Woodinville as well as Cottage Lake. The mill at Cottage Lake closed around 1928.

The one-room Cottage Lake School was built around 1900 in the center of a logging community.
